Hi all!
It's been ages since I've had time to even think about updating here. I just have so much to do all the time that blogging has fallen by the wayside!

But, as I have a 3 day weekend at my disposal and in 4 more days, the kid's summer vacation starts... I'll have a little more time on my hands!!

So, I wanted to do a quick picture dump and update :)

First off, a picture that I never got a chance to post before I left for Japan! I put it up on tumblr, so no doubt you've seen it, but whatever.

So, I've been in Japan for 4 and a half months now. It doesn't honestly feel like it's been that long, but I suppose it has. So much has happened in that time!!
It was rather easy to fall back into the life of an English teacher! Kids are freaking hilarious... and I swear they're little geniuses... How they come up with some of the things they do is completely beyond me! And Japanese children have to be the most creative little buggers EVER!
Though, being from a country that came up with Hard Gay Fuuu!~ and nameko, I shouldn't be surprised!
(for those who don't know, Hard Gay was a comedian and Nameko is a new character the kids are wild about. He's a mushroom that they traditionally put in Nabe and soups. Why they have made a character out of a mushroom, I have no idea...

Anyway...

I have moved 3 times since arriving in Japan!! I lived right outside of Shibuya for about a month in a tiny little room that I was so very in love with!!

It wasn't much, but it was right in the center of town. However, in the end, it was way too far away from work to be practical. (Getting up at 5:30am to make it to work in time and not getting home until 6:30pm isn't fun, regardless of how central a location I lived!! and fighting through Shibuya station at rush hour... forget it!!)

Mini room warming party.

SO, I ended up moving from Shibuya to the other side of Ikebukuro. By train, it was only about a 30 minute move, but saved me loads of time on my morning commute. Instead of getting up at 5am, I could sleep until 7am... just because of the connector trains I could take and the fact that I lived 5 minutes from the train line that my schools are on.

Once again, little tiny room. This one was bigger than the previous one... but no kitchen with sink... so I had to go downstairs to the common room to cook and the likes... and, that was the draw back on this cute little room.

I lived in this little room for about... 2 weeks (though I rented it for about 2 months, which I will explain shortly.)

Spring came and the cherry blossoms popped out and were beautiful as always. I worked... hung out occasionally, and worked some more.

Then, I met my amazing boyfriend! Let's just say we met and that's all she wrote!! I had only been living in the room for 2 weeks when we started dating... and I was over at his apartment so much that I was moved in long before we decided I was actually moved in. lol!!

We mesh so well it's ridiculous! So, we've been officially living together for about 1 month... but really, it's been about 2 1/2 months. lol!

SO, now I've moved COMPLETELY out of the city and live in Hanno-shi... which is about an hour from Ikebukuro... and about an hour and half from Shinjuku/Shibuya... irony.

We can see M. Fuji from our balcony!!! It's a 1DK (1 room with "dining room" and kitchen) We just recently bought the massive bed... the sad leaning couch against the balcony was the bed... but we managed to break one of the legs off of it while playing video games.... cause we are just that awesome!

And I leave you with random pictures from the last couple of months... my naked face as I go to work, and the most recent pictures of me on my way to the NoGod concert. Enjoy!
Cherry Blossoms, mmm smells great, car crash outside our apartment, "I love little pussy" best English song ever!, angry sitting cat on leash, walking my feet off!

I'm going to try to be a little more active again!
Until next time!
